Union Park BMW will be the main sponsor of the BMW Car Club of America New York Chapter’s racing event this coming weekend on April 10th in Millville, New Jersey from 8am – 5pm. The event, held for BMW car and racing enthusiasts, will be at the New Jersey Motor Sports Park just one hour from Wilmington, Delaware. The event will support the local B+ Foundation helping children battling cancer. Attendees will see modified performance BMWs driven on the Lightning Track, talk to professional BMW race drivers and compare BMW models.

The event will be a draw for BMW drivers and enthusiasts, as well as those that want to support the B+ Foundation. Attendees will bring their own approved cars to race or ride with one of the professional drivers. They can also watch the racing and see the BMW cars in a line up during the event.  Al Carter, B+ Racing Driver and B+ Foundation Partner, will be at the event to raise awareness about childhood cancer and talk to attendees about racing.

Mike Gardner, Union Park BMW’s Sales Manager and a BMW Aficionado says, “This is a great way for BMW enthusiasts to see BMW performance parts in motion on BMW cars, especially from professional drivers who have modified their cars performance and aesthetics.”

This event is also a draw for those looking to break into the racing industry and seeking advice. “Attendees will get the chance to meet and talk to drivers about their years in driving and learn about starting their own careers in the racing industry,” says Ron Rescigno, Union Park BMW’s Training Director and the father of a BMW Car Club of America (New York Chapter) Board Member.
